The area is a true open-air gym and offers the opportunity to practice sports of all kinds, but you can also travel through time visiting places and monuments from a mysterious past as well as start a journey through inimitable dishes and flavours.

HORSE RIDING

The San Lorenzo Riding Club offers riding lessons for beginners and children as well as advanced courses, excursions to discover the Sinis peninsula and experiences of two or more days to explore the west coast.
In addition to horses, there are other animals at the facility such as donkeys, Tibetan goats and rabbits.
bike tours

Mountain bike excursions that will make you live an experience that combines sport, nature and history. The routes wind through dirt paths, salty ponds and breathtaking landscapes overlooking the crystalline sea of western Sardinia.
surf school

Is Benas Surf Club & School organise surf lessons and camps for beginners, intermediate and advanced level. Classes are held in English and Italian. Lessons are given by experienced and certified instructors.
Tandem Paramotor Flights

Experience the thrill of a tandem paramotor flight along the Sinis Coast. Accessible to everyone, including people with physical disabilities. Breathtaking views and the possibility to customise your flight anywhere in Sardinia.

Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a complete beginner, you can join a professional local fisherman for a day at sea in the Gulf of Oristano. You’ll have the opportunity to see traditional fishing techniques in action and explore the rich marine environment of the Sinis Peninsula.

winery

Check out all experiential tours and let yourself be guided by over 120 years of tradition from the first and oldest winery in Sardinia. You’ll visit the places where wines are born, as well as where they rest and mature.
olive oil tasting

You’ll visit the oil mill to discover the methods of olive harvesting and processing, and to understand how, from Sardinian olives, one of the most recognised gastronomic excellences of the Mediterranean comes to life. You will taste extra virgin olive oil and natural flavoured condiments.
Cheese tasting

You will immerse yourself in the production of sheep and goat cheeses and take part in the artisanal cheesemaking process, creating your own cheese and tasting it with a glass of wine.
pasta workshop

In the company of Antonella, you will prepare malloreddus, ravioli, and fregula. She will teach you which sauces pair best with them, and at the end of the workshop you will enjoy these delicious dishes accompanied by a good glass of wine.

Archeological site of tharros

The ancient city of Tharros lies at the southern tip of the Sinis Peninsula. Founded in the 7th century BCE, it became one of the most important cities in the Mediterranean. You will walk among thousand-year-old ruins overlooking a sea of incredible shades of blue.
gulf of orosei boat tour

Explore the wonders of the east coast aboard a dinghy. You’ll reach the most beautiful beaches of the Orosei Gulf, such as the enchanting Cala Luna, the hidden Cala Mariolu and the wild Cala Goloritzè, UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the boat trip, you will have time for snorkelling and swimming and will stop to visit several caves of the area.
“Su Nuraxi” archaeological zone

Symbols par excellence of Sardinia, the nuraghi are mysterious stone structures found throughout the island. Among the most evocative sites is the nuragic complex of Barumini, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
the green train

You will travel slowly through uncontaminated nature, savouring the times gone by, retracing the journeys of great-grandparents in an atmosphere where almost nothing has changed. The Green Train uses strictly vintage vehicles (from the early 1900s) and you can choose amongst short, medium and long trips.

Civic Archaeological Museum

The statues of Mont’e Prama are the only known examples of stone statuary from the Nuragic period found so far in Sardinia, and among the oldest sculptural works in the Mediterranean. Many of the sculptures are up to two metres high, which is why they are known as the “Giants”. The statues come from the archaeological site of Mont’e Prama, located in the territory of Cabras.
Antiquarium Arborense Museum

In the Antiquarium Arborense you'll find a large number of archaeological discoveries which date back to different ages (Neolithic, Nuragic, Punic and Roman period), coming from the city of Tharros and the Sinis Peninsula.
