things to know

Please follow the waste sorting calendar and the guide (find guide here) provided on the fridge and on the wall by the bins on the ground floor. Bin bags are under the kitchen sink. Please note waste sorting is monitored by local authorities. Incorrect refuse sorting can result in fines which will be deducted from your deposit or charged at check-out

You can park up to 2 cars inside the property making sure not to obstruct the septic tank. You can also park your car on the street for free (watch out for no parking and disable parking signs)

Villa Luigi is a two-story villa, however the ground floor shall be used as a storage area only. On this floor, you will find the recycling bins, the washing machine, extra chairs/tables to use in the garden or in the terrace and some beach chairs, toys and games. Please do not use this floor as a sitting area and do not use the kitchen where the washing machine is located

Gas in the kitchen is supplied through a gas cylinder stored in a cabinet in the garden and we always make sure this is full before your arrival. In the event you run out of gas, please do not attempt to replace the gas cylinder yourself, but contact us and we will come and replace it for you

Since the property has a standard electricity power, using multiple appliances together may cause the power to go off due to a power overload. In the event of a power outage, the electric panel (see picture) is located in the box by the entrance (to the living room), while the main switchboard (see picture) is outside the property, by the second gate on the side of the property. The key to open this is inside the electric switchboard in the living room

Due to the local plumbing system, to avoid creating clogs and blockages, please do not over-use toilet paper and do not flush down anything except for toilet paper. Please use the bin provided for feminine products, wipes or anything else

Unfortunately during warm and hot periods there are many mosquitoes and insects, therefore we recommend you to always use mosquito nets and keep the doors closed. In the house you will find some products for protection from mosquitoes and insects. We also kindly ask you to operate the mosquito nets with care to avoid damaging them

Feel free to water the plants and the garden (if needed). It would be really appreciated!

Air conditioning:

There are two machines, one in the living room and one in the sleeping area. The user manual is in the white cabinet by the bedrooms. You can adjust the temperature using the white remote control on the TV stand and on the cabinet by the bedrooms. However, please try to keep it between 24 and 26 degrees in summer and between 18 and 22 degrees in winter, and don’t leave the A/C running when you leave the house
 

Washing machine:

The washing machine is on the ground level in the storage area. You’ll find the user manual near the machine
 

Coffee machine:

You'll find some capsules on the kitchen counter. The coffee machine instructions are in the middle drawer of the cabinet in the living room
 

Dishwasher:

Please make sure the dishwasher is full before turning it on. You’ll find some dishwasher tablets under the kitchen sink. The user manual is in the middle drawer of the cabinet in the living room

Television:

You'll find two remote controls, one for the tv "LG" and one for the digital terrestrial "Sagecom". Switch both devices on and use the Sagecom remote control to change channels

The kitchen is stocked with the basics (such as simple seasoning and some condiments) and there is also a liquor cabinet in the living room, which you are free to use as you wish

Tap water isn’t safe to drink and in some periods of the year won't be safe to cook as well. In these occasions, the local municipality installs a potable water tank in the town for people to supply themselves

We provide some cleaning products and dish soap, you can find them under the kitchen sink or on the ground floor​​

A high chair is available upon request

We provide a set of 3 towels for each guest (hand towel, bath towel and face cloth) and each requested bed is prepared with mattress and pillows cover, fitted and flat sheets, plus blankets during cold periods. During summer periods blankets can be found in the wardrobes. We are unable to provide a change of linen during your stay, but you are free to wash the linen and towels supplied

 A cot (linen included) is available upon request​

Although Sa Rocca Tunda is a very quiet village, we recommend to close and lock all windows and doors when you leave the house. We indeed recommend not to leave doors open also when at home due to stray cats
